In 2004, Richard made the pivotal decision to relocate to Jackson, Mississippi, a move that would prove pivotal in his career. Eager to further his expertise in sheet metal, he enrolled in the esteemed Local 406 Sheetmetal union. Here, he deepened his knowledge and proficiency in the craft, setting the stage for a future filled with innovation and excellence.
Richard’s dedication to his craft took him to Unified Brands in Byram, Mississippi, where he spent a decade manufacturing commercial appliances. This invaluable experience provided him with a profound understanding of appliance mechanics, further fueling his passion for the industry.
In 2016, Richard achieved a significant milestone in his educational journey when he graduated from Delta Technical College with an impressive 4.0 GPA in HVAC-R/MAR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration/Major Appliance Repair). Armed with comprehensive knowledge and a strong educational foundation, he was ready to make his mark in the industry.
With a vision to provide top-tier HVAC and appliance repair services to the Jackson community, Richard founded Coleman’s A/C Heating & Appliance Repair in July 2016. His unwavering commitment to excellence, coupled with his extensive experience and education, has made Coleman’s a trusted name in the field.
